This Learning Brief looks at Islamphobia and gendered Islamphobia in anti-Violence Against Women Work in Canada. Three examples of projects that are best practices for Muslim-led anti-VAW projects are provided.

This Brief was authored by Sidrah Ahmad, the Coordinator of the Immigrant and Refugee Communities Neighbours Friends and Families Campaign at OCASI, and an anti-Islamophobia researcher and advocate who recently released the Rivers of Hope Toolkit for Muslim women survivors of Islamophobic violence.
